Set Up YourScroll (5 minutes)
After downloading YourScroll, you can choose what types of categories interest you, how much you want to write, how long you want your social media sessions to be, and during what times of the day you want to activate YourScroll.
You'll also need to allow YourScroll to connect to Apple Screentime within the app.
Start Reflecting Before You Scroll
Once you have YourScroll set up, you will be automatically redirected to the app when you open the social media apps you selected.
At first, it will feel frustrating. Your brain is used to instant access. But that short interruption is the point: it breaks the automatic habit and gives you a moment to decide whether you actually want to scroll.
Each refection you write will be added to your own personal scroll. As the days and weeks go on, your scroll will grow, and you will train your brain to use social media more mindfully.
